Before you decide

What we can't do

Seven things we won't be able to arrange, written down on purpose. Better you read them here than meet one at a check-in desk.

A pet mover should tell you what it can't do as clearly as what it can. These are the limits we work to, so a route, a breed or a date that won't work gets found before anything is booked.

We don't sedate pets for travel
IATA advises against it, and it's the old, unwell and stressed animals it's most dangerous for. Why.
We can't make an airline take a snub-nosed breed
Several won't at all. What we can do is find the airlines that will, on the routes that work, in the months that are open, and tell you early if there aren't any.
We can't get a banned breed into a country that bans it
Many countries won't accept breeds such as Pit Bull, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bull Terrier, American Bulldog and others. That's a conversation for before you choose a city.
We can't book the airline on an excess baggage move
That booking has to be yours. We tell you which airlines are taking pets and connect you with their desk, and do everything else.
We can't speed up the rules
Blood test waits, permits and quarantine places run on the destination's clock, and paying more doesn't shorten them. We'd rather turn down a date that can't work than pretend.
We can't take every animal on every route
We move dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and horses, but most pet birds can't leave India at all, and Europe doesn't take horses from India. We tell you that on the first day, not the third month.
We can't promise a country has no quarantine
Some routes need a place booked ahead; for others the live permit decides. We check the real position before you commit.

Every limit here is from IKAN Lola's own published guidance.
