What goes wrong

Four things stop a pet travelling. All of them are knowable in advance.

Vendor review

What to ask any pet vendor, us included.

Some of this we don't publish on a web page, and nobody should. Get it in writing, against the contract.

The insurance and liability position, in writing
We don't publish one on this site. Ask for it against the contract you're considering, and ask every vendor the same.
How assignee data is handled
A pet move carries passport copies and addresses at both ends. Ask what's collected, where it's kept, who sees it and when it's deleted.
The escalation path and its hours
Ask who the assignee reaches out of hours and put it in the contract. We don't publish a service level on this site.
What's inside the quote
The titre test and lab work, the crate, the endorsements, clearance and duties, quarantine boarding where needed, and whether the airline ticket on an excess baggage move is the assignee's to buy. It is.
What the vendor won't do
Ours is published in full. A vendor with no answer hasn't thought about how moves fail.
