How it works.
For a pet from India, Malaysia's MAQIS process asks for a quarantine booking number in the import permit application. That advance place, not the flight time, is why we keep this route at six months or more.
The vet file follows Malaysia's live protocol for non-scheduled countries, alongside the Indian export sequence. We check the chip, the vaccines, the tests, the health papers, the permit and the quarantine terms against both authorities before we fix a date.
We hold the travel date until the clearances are actually in hand. With a booked place waiting at the other end, that's the difference between a plan and a hope.
