India to Singapore

Moving a dog or cat from India to Singapore

It's a short flight to a strict border. A blood test 90 days out, a quarantine place booked before you fly and a vaccine again on arrival. Allow 6 months or more.

“Lola relocation did a very good job in relocating my pet dog from Bangalore to Singapore in June.”

How it works.

Singapore puts India on its Schedule III. The blood sample is taken at least 28 days after a valid rabies vaccine, and at least 90 days and within 12 months before export. Then there's a compulsory stay of at least 30 days at the Animal Quarantine Centre, and that place has to be booked in advance.

We prepare the current AVS documents and import licence, arrange the chip and the blood work through an accepted lab, and hold the travel date until every clearance and the quarantine place are in our hands.

On arrival he gets another rabies vaccine. That's part of the process, not a sign anything went wrong.

The file for Singapore

  • A quarantine place at the Animal Quarantine Centre, booked before travel, for at least 30 days.
  • The current AVS veterinary certificate and import licence.
  • Rabies serology sampled at least 90 days and within 12 months before export.
  • A rabies vaccine again on arrival in Singapore.

All of this sits on top of the standard export file.

Quarantine: Booked before you fly

A pet from India spends at least 30 days at the Animal Quarantine Centre, and the place is part of the file before travel, not something sorted on landing. We arrange it and stay on the file the whole time he's there.

The thing that moves the date

Don't plan by the flight time. A short flight sits inside a six month plan, because of the 90 day serology rule and the quarantine booking.

Checked against the authority's own pages

Rules change. We check the live rule for your pet and your dates before anything is booked, and nothing here is a promise about a date.
